TanThang Cement Project is a key project of Nghe An, currently the construction site is implementing the final items of the project... With the attention and support of relevant levels and branches. With the efforts of the investor, the construction unit of TanThang Cement project ensures progress and is determined to complete in 2020. TanThang Cement Project was approved by the Government according to the Vietnam Cement Industry Development Plan for the period 2011-2020 and orientation to 2030. The project construction progress for the project was carried out within 17 months, one of the cement production lines in Vietnam with the fastest construction progress to date.

To ensure progress, TanThang Cement has implemented the following solutions:

Build a project management team from people with experience in investment management and production operations in the cement sector. Train 200 production operators at the Cement Technical College of Vietnam Cement Industry Group (Vicem) in Hai Phong from October 2018 to familiarize themselves with the production line from the final stage of installation and operation.

Therefore, the parties have worked together to plan the level 3 progress very closely and closely follow this progress, solving difficulties and handling foreign experts at the construction site every day. Equipment, materials and technical services for the project are provided by the world's leading cement manufacturers and suppliers: Bedeschi (Italy), FLSmidth (Denmark), Loesche (Germany), Haver & Boecker (Germany), ABB (Switzerland) from the EU, G7 with the most advanced technology (using bag dust filters combined with electrostatic dust filters), so the production line meets the most stringent environmental standards.

A system using waste heat to generate electricity at the factory invested by the company will contribute to environmental protection, towards sustainable development. The green tree system in the factory premises is being planted and cared for, ensuring that the factories operate well when the factory comes into operation. The company has strictly implemented environmental regulations during the construction process.
TanThang Cement Plant has requested the Nghe An provincial government to pay attention to eliminating the following difficulties:

Site clearance work in the area of ​​two limestone and clay mines needs the attention of local leaders to be carried out synchronously; allowing drawing and counting of work before obtaining a mining license.

Road: The road from Hoang Mai Industrial Park to TanThang Cement Plant - under the direction of the Provincial People's Committee assigned to the Management Board of Civil Construction and Urban Infrastructure Economic Projects to ensure the frontline on August 30, 2018 - has not been completed, causing many difficulties in transporting construction materials and equipment.

10KV power source for construction: Unstable, weak, often outages when it rains due to unsafe road corridors, some insulation has not been changed, interrupting construction at the site.
Water for construction and production activities: According to the signed contract, Hoang Mai Water Supply Company Limited committed to ensuring water for the project until October 31, 2018. However, so far there is no water and the construction of water pipes is very slow.

During the investment process to implement the project, Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan, General Director of TanThang Cement Plant, shared that the policy of attracting investment in Nghe An has attracted investors. The highest levels of Nghe An provincial government always pay attention, direct and create favorable conditions for investors to implement projects in the province. However, some units implementing the work assigned by the Provincial People's Committee such as transportation, electricity, and water supply for the project are still slow, affecting the progress of the project.

Authorities at all levels need to be decisive in building infrastructure to attract investment, compensation and site clearance. In addition, it is also necessary to add projects not included in the investment incentive plan to the investment incentive list, adjust the time and corporate income tax to attract investors.
