New milestone of Vietnam's machinery installation industry: 17 months to complete factory installation

In just 17 months, TanThang Cement Plant (Quynh Luu, Nghe An) completed construction and installation - a new record for the Vietnamese machinery installation industry.

Project Overview

As part of the development plan of Vietnam's cement industry in the period 2011 - 2020 with a total investment of 4,902 billion VND, TanThang Cement Plant project is built in Bac Thang village, Tan Thang commune, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province.

The factory uses equipment and production lines imported from the EU and G7 countries, with 77% of the equipment being localized in Vietnam. With a capacity of 2-2.5 million tons/year, the project was deployed and installed in phase 1 from June 21, 2018, and completed on November 21, 2019. When put into operation, the project will contribute over 150 billion VND/year to the State and create jobs and stable income for over 400 workers.

This is a cement factory equipped with technology from the world's leading brands: Bedeschi limestone rakes (Italy), FLSmidth double-bed kilns (Denmark), Loesche cement grinding (Germany), Haver & Boecker bagging (Germany), ABB electrical system (Switzerland) to help reduce energy consumption for production at the factory and fully meet the most stringent environmental standards.
