TanThang Cement Plant: Affirming position through creative thinking
With a total investment of more than 5,000 billion VND on an area of nearly 60 hectares, TanThang Cement Plant chooses the direction of sustainable development, pioneering technology with the slogan "Creating a difference - Building trust".
TanThang Cement Plant is built in Tan Thang Commune, Quynh Luu District, Nghe An Province with a favorable location: near Nghi Son International Port; near abundant, high-quality raw materials, ensuring a stable, long-term supply of raw materials for production. In April 2020, the first tons of TanThang Cement products were available on the market and were quickly welcomed by customers. TanThang Cement Plant has a capacity of 5,000 tons of clinker/day, equivalent to 2 million tons of cement/year, creating jobs for more than 400 direct workers, mainly local people, contributing over 200 billion VND to the State budget each year, creating a driving force for the development of the Nam Thanh - Bac Nghe region.
With the orientation of sustainable development and pioneering technology, TanThang Cement has conquered domestic and international customers such as the US, Australia, China, aiming to expand the Philippines market and other markets. Currently, TanThang Cement Plant is operating a modern production line, applying new technological solutions for high productivity and energy saving. The 2-bed self-aligning clinker kiln of FLSmidth - Denmark is an advanced technology in the design of cement rotary kilns. The cement grinding system uses a new generation vertical mill of Loesche - Germany.
Advanced bagging system equipment provided by Haver & Boecker – Germany has high precision.
TanThang Cement satisfies domestic and foreign customers thanks to its high quality, stable products; beautiful colors; diverse designs and packaging, from regular 50kg bags to Jumbo bags weighing 500 - 2,000 kg and other types of packaging. Aiming at green production and fulfilling social responsibility, the factory utilizes waste from other industries in production; saves electricity, especially minimizing electricity use during peak hours. A residual heat power generation system is being deployed to save energy and minimize emissions to the environment.
According to Mr. Le Dinh Trung - Deputy General Director in charge of production, "The current environmental standards at TanThang are equal to the requirements of European standards, exceeding the requirements of Vietnamese standards. The trees in the factory premises are not covered with dust, the chimney does not emit dust, saving up to 30% of electricity. Currently, at TanThang Cement Plant, the output dust concentration is always less than 30 mg/Nm3 , the cement grinding area is less than 20 mg/Nm3 .
As one of the few factories in Vietnam capable of producing special cements such as superplastic cement and sulfate-resistant cement, TanThang Cement has been affirming its position, continuing to grow strongly, sharing success and development with partners and customers.
